What is CIDB
The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is a national body established by an Act of Parliament (Act 38 of 2000) to oversee the sustainability and growth of construction enterprises across the country.
They regulate the construction industry by facilitating the public sector procurement and serves as a framework for contractor development.
Who must register with The Register of Projects (CIDB)
Any construction that consider working with tenders. Public sector clients must register projects more than R200,000 while private sector clients and large state owned entities must register projects above R10 million
